The Opinions of Others

Every day we hear the opinions of others. What they thought of the game last night or their take on the latest celebrity scandal. We also often hear people’s opinions when it comes directly to the way we live our life’s. What people think or our significant other or what career we should.

What we need to remember though is that no matter what the opinion it is up for us to choose. Just because someone believes our lives should be in such a way doesn’t mean we have to choose that way.

For example, if you’re trying to reach your full potential and choose a career path that is against the grain, you’ll probably get a lot of advice (I. E. Opinions) from friends and family to avoid the change. However we all know that if what you’re doing isn’t making you happy, doing more of it def won’t make you happier. So you have to really be careful the direction you end up choosing.

Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean you should ignore the opinions of other – certainly not a good idea – but just be sure that you consider it and remember that the final choice is up to you and what you truly want for yourself.

A great way to judge the value of an opinion is by asking these following questions:
